4 plans to enjoy in the month of April in San Sebastian
April is known for its abundant rain, but is also a month that is expected with great enthusiasm because spring is brand new and it is fancy to make plans. 1. Project 'Between sands'. The San Telmo Museum of San Sebastián will host from this month the project 'Between sands', which is presented as an educational meeting and debate on issues such as human rights or international cooperation. One of the highlights of this event will be the installation of Tuiza, a colorful tent created by the Sevillian artist Federico Guzmán and that will be the stage for the scheduled activities: lectures, panel discussions, artistic Sizes, films about the Saharawi people, etc.

2. International Book Day. The April 23 World Book Day is celebrated and, if you are around Donostia, you can not miss the opportunity to get close to the Plaza de Guipúzcoa, which, once again, host a fair where you can buy both the latest titles published as the great works of literature. In addition, some of the authors of the new books will pass through the square to sign copies. If you like to read, this is a must.

3. XIV Film Festival and Human Rights. From 15 to 22 April in San Sebastian a new edition of this festival that lands with the intention of promoting public values such as solidarity, justice and equality. This fourteenth edition will be more international than ever before, since it coincides with San Sebastian Cultural Capital 2016. A total of 33 short films, 23 short films and 5 exposures be included in the festival program. The Danish film 'Land of mine' will be in charge of giving the starting signal for the meeting on 15 April. All sessions will be held at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre.

4. International Dance Day. During the month of April, specifically the 29th, the International Dance Day, a date which at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia never overlook is held. In 2016, in fact, it will host the XX Gala of International Dance Day, which will feature a wide selection of dance performances by the Dance Professionals Association of Guipuzcoa.
